The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) Criminal Investigations Department is actively pursuing leads in the investigation of the robbery that occurred at the House of Luxury Jewelry Store in Cyril B. Romney Pier Park on Saturday. Acting Commissioner St. Clair Amory confirmed that progress is being made, although specific details cannot be disclosed at this time.

The armed robbery took place around 2 pm when two individuals, wearing masks and dressed entirely in white, entered the store. While one of the assailants proceeded to remove jewelry from the showcases, the other stood by. Both suspects then made their escape toward the parking lot, carrying a significant amount of stolen merchandise. The exact value of the stolen items is currently unknown.

During the incident, one of the perpetrators discharged a firearm outside the compound. Thankfully, no injuries were reported. The RVIPF also received reports of gunshots fired near Road Reef and around the Stickett in Long Look, which are currently under investigation.

The RVIPF is appealing to witnesses who were present at or near Pier Park during the time of the robbery to come forward with any information they may have. Every detail, no matter how insignificant it may seem, could be crucial to the investigation. Witnesses can provide information to the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339. Alternatively, they can choose to remain anonymous by contacting Crimestoppers at 800-8477.

The RVIPF remains committed to resolving this case and urges the public to assist with any information that could help identify the suspects and recover the stolen items. The detectives are closing in on the Pier Park robbery suspects, and the investigation is well underway.
