Djimon Gumbs Gets Shot Put Bronze – Throws 19.00 Meters
Djimon Gumbs threw an impressive 19.00 meters on Monday to win a bronze medal in the Men’s Shot Put at the 2023 Central American and Caribbean (CAC) Games.
The July 3 third place finish secured the British Virgin Islands its first medal of the games which are currently being held in San Salvador, El Salvador.
The territory selected four track athletes, three field athletes, one sailor, and one archer for the CAC games which kicked off on June 23 and will conclude on July 8.
