In a public stand against the impact of violence in communities in the British Virgin Islands, Church of God of Prophecy in Long Look has joined with several youth organisations in the Seventh and Eight Electoral Districts to organise a ‘Stop The Violence March’ on August 20.

The theme of the community outreach event is ‘Help The Generation’

The march will start at the Church of Prophecy Community Worship Centre in Long Look to Fat Hog’s Bay area and then back to the Long Look Park Gazebo.

The promotional material said the programme under the Gazebo will include moving dances, engaging poems and messages from children.

Young people in the territory are impacted the most by the rise in violence, including gun crimes.
