Eye Witness Of Daring Daylight Pier Park Robbery Urged To Assist Detectives
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are asking witnesses of today’s daring daylight robbery in the Cyril B Romney Tortola Pier Park to assist detectives in apprehending the two bandits.
“Those who witnessed the robbery are asked to provide any information, no matter how insignificant it may seem,” urged a Saturday, July 1 police statement.
At around 2 p.m. two persons dressed in all white and wearing masks were seen walking towards jewellery store House of Luxury in the Pier Park.
They robbed the establishment of an undisclosed sum of valuables before running towards the parking lot and discharging a gun in the air.
No injuries were reported following the robbery which was witnessed by several persons in and around the Pier Park in Road Town.
