Two Men Remanded For Criminal Damage And Wounding

Dominican Republic native Miguel A. Encarnacion and British Virgin Islander Walter Springette were remanded to prison for criminal damage and wounding, respectively.

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force in a June 22 statement said 38-year-old Encarnacion was arrested on June 12 at around 5:20 p.m. and charged with criminal damage and criminal trespass.
He recently appeared in Magistrate’s Court and was remanded.

Sea Cows Bay, Tortola, resident Walter Springette, 40, also recently appeared in court and was remanded.

He was arrested on June 7 at 4:55 p.m. in Sea Cows Bay and charged with wounding and causing grievous bodily harm.

Meanwhile, Ke’moi Cadore, 28, of Windy Hill Tortola, who was also charged with wounding, will have his day in court on July 24.

Cadore was arrested on June 12 at 4:18 p.m. and released on $5,000 station bail with one surety.
