Three Charged With Gun Offences
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force have charged three persons with possession of illegal guns in separate incidents between June 10 – 15.
Twenty-five-year-old Khalil Jason Winter of Major Bay and Casheem Walters, 31, of Josiah’s Bay, both on Tortola, were arrested on June 10.
The men were detained at around 11:30 p.m. for carrying an unlicenced firearm and unlawful possession of ammunition.
They were each granted $70,000 station bail and will appear in Magistrate’s Court at the next sitting.
Five days later, on June 15, Police charged Travis Osbourne, 29, of Carrot Bay on t Tortola with two counts of keeping an unlicensed firearm.
He appeared in Magistrate’s Court and was remanded.
