Another Victory – Adaejah Hodge To Compete In World Athletics Championships In August

Adaejah Hodge today qualified for the World Athletics Championships in August after winning the 200m at the Star Athletics Series Montverde Academy in Florida, United States.

The British Virgin Islands track star clocked 22.60 seconds on June 10, beating American Candace Hill and British runner Victoria Ohuruogu who crossed the finish line in 22.68 and 22.96 seconds in that order.

Hodge also ran in the 100m finals, but finished seventh with a time of 11.08 seconds. American sensation Sha’Carri Richardson won that race in 10.73 seconds.

The World Athletics Championships will be held from August 19-27 in Budapest.
