D’Moi Hodge Participated in LA Lakers Predraft Workout
British Virgin Islands basketball sensation D’Moi Hodge today participated in the Los Angeles Lakers predraft workout group.
The June 8 session was also attended by several NBS hopefuls, including basketball players from Rutgers and Toledo Universities.
Lakers has two picks in the 2023 NBA Draft — one in the first round at No. 17 and another in the second round at No. 47.
The 6″4′ University of Missouri graduate guard has emerged as a potential second-round NBA pick.
Last season at Missouri, he averaged 14.7 points, 3.9 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game while shooting 47.7 percent from the field and 40.0 percent from three.
He has been described by NBS Draft Room as ” a standout defender with great hands, good instincts and a knack for getting steals. He moves his feet very well, has good anticipation and can really lock up ball-handlers.”
The NBA draft takes place on June 22.
