Government Gives US$250,000 Grant For Concert Celebrating Historic American Airlines US – BVI Nonstop Service
British Virgin Islands Premier Natalio Wheatley today announced that government will provide US$250,000 grant for a concert at Brandywine Bay in celebration of the American Airlines’ nonstop flight from Miami to the Terrance B Lettsome International Airport at Beef Island.
Wheatley also revealed that the government will be investing a total of US$50,000 for the advancement of local artists and gave assurance that the BVI Music Fest will be back in 2024.
American Airlines inaugural flight landed at the territory’s main airport on June 1 with 79 passengers including Premier Wheatley.
