Two In Custody After Drugs And Cash Found On Boat
A large quantity of drugs and cash were seized this morning by the British Virgin Islands Joint Taskforce and United States Coast Guards following a high speed boat chase in the eastern part of Tortola.
Around 4:00 a.m. this morning, May 9, residents on Tortola heard a helicopter in the area for about two hours in what appeared to be a high-level land and sea search and chase.
Local and US law enforcement trailed a go-fast boat which eventually ran aground on a beach in Tortola.
Investigations are ongoing.
