US Coast Guard and BVI Law Enforcement Capture Go-Fast Boat
British Virgin Islands Law Enforcement and the United States Coast Guard captured a go-fast boat around 4:00 a.m. this morning on the eastern end of Tortola.
According to reports, on May 9, residents on Tortola heard a helicopter in the area for about two hours in what appeared to be a high-level land and sea search and chase.
The boat ran aground on a beach in Tortola, but it is still unclear if anything illegal was found, or if an arrest was made.
