D’ Moi Hodge Selected For NBA G League Elite Camp
British Virgin Islands basketball star D’Moi Hodge has been selected to participate in the two-day NBA G League Elite Camp from May 13 in Chicago, United States.
This is an opportunity for Hodge to show his skills in front of NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches and front-office executives in the Wintrust Arena.
The guard will play in five-on-five games and participate in strength and agility drills. Based on his performance, Hodge could be invited to participate in Microsoft Surface NBA Draft Combine 2023 between May 15-21 in Wintrust Arena.
Hodge helped the University of Missouri Tigers to one of their most successful campaigns in years during the 2022-23 season. He The finished second on the team with am avaerage of 14.7 points per game, establishing a new school record with 91 steals and becoming the fifth Tiger to connect on 100 3-pointers in a single season.
The Tigers finished with 25 victories – their most in 11 seasons – while claiming their first NCAA Tournament victory in 13 years and advancing to the SEC Tournament Semifinals for the first time in school history.
Overall, Hodge ranked fourth nationally with 2.60 steals per game, 32nd with 2.86 triples per game and 37th with a three-point clip of 40.0.
He was a finalist for the Lefty Driesell Defensive Player of the Year, while being named to the SEC All-Tournament Team.
