District Six Basketball Court Rehabilitated
The basketball court in the Sixth Electoral District got a bit of love over the last few weeks.
The rehabilitation works is part of a community initiative using residents to assist in upgrading recreational facilities in Purcell, Tortola.
Volunteers included Sixth Electoral District Representative Alvera Maduro, National Democratic Party Candidate Myron Walwyn and their teams, members of the community in particular the One Love Football Club.
Rehabilitation works included electrical work, plumbing and painting.
Bleacher installation and repainting and remarking the court will be done in the near future.
