BVI Is A Part Of Carifta Games History
The British Virgin Islands’ 30-member team today proudly flew the territory’s colours during the 50th Carifta Games opening ceremony in Nassau, Bahamas.
They joined 27 other countries to officially kick off the golden anniversary of the games.
The Games were founded by the Caribbean Free Trade Association with the first junior regional competition ( Under 17 and Under 20) held in 1972.
The main goal of the competition is to improve relations between Caribbean countries using sports.
