House of Assembly dissolved
(JTV News) — The Virgin Islands’ House of Assembly was dissolved on Friday, March 10, 2023.
The House was dissolved after a formal request was made by Premier and Minister of Finance Natalio D. Wheatley to Governor John Rankin who then made the proclamation which has been gazetted.
This development paves the way for General Elections which must be held before May 12, 2023.
The attention is now on Premier and Minister of Finance Natalio D. Wheatley who is the only one who can decide on the election date.
