Former BVI sports administrator Patrick Harrigan passes away

Veteran British Virgin Islands sports administrator and former athlete, Patrick O. Harrigan, has passed away.
News of his passing was posted minutes after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 on the VI Sports & Culture Facebook page.
“REIP Basketballer, Administrator & Starter, Patrick Harrigan,” the post read, which was followed by condolences.
Harrigan was a former director of the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports.
He was also a former basketball and track and field athlete, coach and starter.
