(JTV News) — After 19 years with the BVI Tourist Board, Rhodni Skelton has to turn a new page — but he leaves with a lot of gratitude from his superiors.

In a statement, the BVI Tourist Board & Film Commission said it thanks Skelton for his years of service to the organisation over the past five and a half years as its deputy, and more so for his 19 years of service to the BVI tourism organisation.

According to the statement, Skelton has “moved on to the next phase of his career” and officials expressed their appreciation.

“Chairman of the Board, Mrs. Delma Maduro, and Director of Tourism Mr. Clive McCoy thanked Mr. Skelton for his many years of invaluable service to the Board and the Territory in the various capacities in which he served and wished him success in the next chapter of his professional journey,” the BVITB statement said.

Skelton was appointed deputy director in May 2017 after serving previously as film commissioner and events marketing manager.
