The fatal shooting occurred just before 2 a.m. on Fowler Avenue. According to officials, Trevor Hughes, 49, originally from the BVI, was engaged in a dispute with two men when one of them opened fire, striking him in the stomach.

Emergency responders rushed Hughes to a nearby hospital, but he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
