Adaejah Hodge has etched her name in the history books, becoming the British Virgin Islands’ first athlete to advance to two sprint finals at a single World Athletics U20 Championships. The 18-year-old sprint sensation secured her spot in the 200m final after winning her heat in 23.16 seconds (-0.6), a commanding performance that showcased her exceptional talent.

Hodge, the national junior and senior record holder in both sprints, is now the second athlete in BVI history to reach two U20 finals in the same meet. Having already claimed a silver medal in the 100m on Wednesday, Hodge is also set to become the territory’s first athlete to win two medals at a single World Championships.
