Ramon G Crowned Power Soca King and LJ Wins Groovy Soca Title with “Don’t Stop
Ramon G claimed the title of Power Soca King with his song “VI Pride” at the annual Soca Monarch competition held last night, August 3, in the Festival Village. His powerful performance earned him the top prize of $4,000.
In the Groovy Soca segment, LJ captivated the audience with his hit “Don’t Stop,” securing the crown and also taking home a $4,000 prize. Demonstrating his versatility, LJ also earned second place in the Power Soca segment, adding an additional $1,000 to his winnings.
J Versatile is the first runner-up in both the Power and Groovy segments. His impressive performances earned him $2,000 for each category, totaling $4,000.
