Illegal Immigrants Discovered on Virgin Gorda
Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) found a group of eleven illegal immigrants at an abandoned building on Virgin Gorda during the early hours of Thursday, February 29.
Following thorough investigations, an additional three individuals were found at the same location. Furthermore, preliminary inquiries suggest the presence of more individuals yet to be discovered.
The RVIPF is urging individuals to report any sightings of unfamiliar persons to the Virgin Gorda Police Station at 368-5690 or the Immigration Department. Efforts to identify and apprehend these individuals are underway.
Once apprehended, the illegal immigrants will be transferred to the Immigration Department for further processing. Investigations into the matter remain ongoing as authorities work to address this issue swiftly and comprehensively.
