Two Women Charged With Assault
Jodyann Thomas and Shanique Ogilvie have been charged with assault follow separate incidents in January on main island Tortola.
A Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) statement said Thomas was arrested on January 5 at around 6:30 p.m.
Following an investigation, the thirty-five-year-old of Road Town, Tortola, was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
She is booked to appear in Magaistrate’s Court on February 15.
Meanwhile, Ogilvie, 36, of Parham Town, also on Tortola, was charged with common assault stemming from an incident on January 20.
According to Police, at around 1:40 p.m. Ogilvie was arrested, charged and placed on $5,000 station bail.
She will appear in Magistrate’s Court on March 1.
