BVI Eyes Crucial Win Over Dominica for Concacaf Nations League League B Promotion
The British Virgin Islands’ Senior Men’s National Team is gearing up for a crucial must-win match against Dominica on Thursday, eyeing promotion to League B of the Concacaf Nations League.
The team is set to make history with a win on November 16 at the A.O. Shirley Recreation Ground in Road Town, Tortola.
Presently, the BVI holds the top spot in League C, Group C, with an impressive five points, secured through one victory and two draws.
The national team created history with their first victory in the Concacaf Nations League against Turks and Caicos on September 9.
Dominica is second on the table with four points, comprising one win and one draw.
Meanwhile, Turks and Caicos have faced three matches, earning one point from a single draw and enduring two losses.
A draw will maintain BVI’s lead in the group, but Dominica will gain an advantage. The visiting side also hopes for a three-point win in Road Town to secure a return to League B.
