RVIPF Apologizes for Traffic Delays During School Year Resumption
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has issued an apology for the traffic delays experienced by commuters this morning, September 11, 2023. These delays were a result of temporary traffic rerouting measures implemented to accommodate the resumption of the school year.
Recognizing the inconvenience caused to the public, the RVIPF acknowledges the need for further assessments to ensure a smoother flow of traffic in the future. As part of their commitment to improving traffic management, the RVIPF assures the public that they will be informed in advance of any proposed traffic changes.
“We understand the frustration caused by the traffic delays this morning and sincerely apologize for the inconvenience,” stated a spokesperson for the RVIPF. “We are actively working to assess the situation and develop strategies to minimize disruptions during peak traffic hours.”
The RVIPF also expressed their appreciation for the understanding, cooperation, and feedback received from the community. They emphasized that the safety of commuters remains their top priority. As they continue to evaluate and improve traffic management measures, the RVIPF urges the public to remain patient and provide input on any concerns or suggestions they may have.
