Deputy Premier Lorna Smith To Host Business Roundtable Today
Deputy Premier and Minister for Financial Services, Labour and Trade Lorna Smith, OBE, will this afternoon host a Business Roundtable with the business community of Districts Four and Five from 5:30 p.m. at Maria’s by the Sea, Norman Island Room on Tortola.
The Wednesday, June 21 discussion is to identify how the government can best support the business community in order to help drive economic growth, a government statement said.
The Labour Commissioner Michelle McLean will be in attendance to answer any labour-related questions during the two-hour meeting.
The meeting wraps up at 7:00 p.m.
