Basketball pundits believe the British Virgin Islands basketball star has the skills to cop one of two spots on the Nets – No. 21 and No. 22 — in the first round of the upcoming 2023 NBA Draft.

Nets guard Seth Curry is entering free agency this offseason, leaving a major hole they believe Hodge can fill.

Clutchpoint.com noted that the former State College of Florida Manatees, Cleveland State Vikings and Missouri Tigers guard is a three-point specialist, capable of devastating opposing teams with both his offence and defence at 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds.

The report added that with Hodge on the team, the Nets will have a legitimate chance to start with four of their most talented players, including Ben Simmons.

His statistics are good. He entered the NBA draft averaging 14.7 points, 3.9 assists and 2.6 steals per game on 47.7 percent shooting from the field and 40.0 percent from 3 as a fifth-year senior.

Hodge was named the 2022 Horizon Defensive Player of the Year, is a 2021-22 All-Horizon first-team selection and led the SEC in steals per game and three-point percentage in 2022-23.
Hodge has been described as an elite perimeter defender with a lightning-quick release from three-point range which will open up a lot for the Nets.
