Tragedy at Sea: Anegada Boat Accident Claims One Life
A tragic accident has taken the life of a Virgin Gorda resident near Anegada Waters.
The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the death of a male following a boat accident that occurred around 8:00pm.
Additional information states that the victim (whose identity is known to JTV) was a lone passenger on the vessel which allegedly hit the Anegada ferry dock, resulting in him being tossed from one end to the other of the boat resulting in critical injuries and subsequent death.
The captain who escaped with minor non-life-threatening injuries is said to be severely traumatized and in serious pain.
