(PRESS RELEASE) — The public is invited to wear purple, green, and white colours on Wednesday, March 8 in observance of International Women’s Day.

Purple signifies justice, dignity and being loyal to the cause. Green symbolises hope and white represents purity.

This year’s theme “DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality” aims to recognise and celebrate the contribution women and girls are making to technology and online education.

For International Women’s Day,  wear purple, green or white in solidarity with our women in the Virgin Islands
